Do you want to play AFL? Do you want to volunteer at a community football club? To find out more about the University Of Southern Queensland "Cougars" AFC you will find all our contact details under the committee tab at the top of this page. Quality volunteers are critical to the conduct and growth of the game because they determine the quality of the club environment and the experience for players and their families. Volunteering at a club can also be a tremendously rewarding experience where people can have fun, learn new skills and develop new friends.

What a fantastic year it has been for the Cougars FC. Congratulations to both the men and women’s team for winning the Grand Final and the Club for all its efforts throughout the year.

2006 has been an extraordinary year for  the men’s side by finishing top of the ladder and by winning the flag.

Here are some of the reasons why:

  • 1st flag in 8 years (1998)
  • Won Minor Premiers, last time was 1997
  • Beat Coolaroo at their home ground, last victory 1998
  • Won the League leading goal kicker, Mat Croft kic
